How this list was checked
Every tempo and key below is the one given in the song’s Wikipedia article, which in most cases cites the published sheet music (Musicnotes editions from the songs’ publishers). For “Clarity” and “Don’t You Worry Child”, the article cites the track’s Beatport listing instead. We checked each one on November 5, 2026, and left out songs whose key we could not confirm from a published source. That is why some obvious 128 BPM hits, such as “Animals” and “Feel So Close”, are missing.
Sheet music gives a notated tempo. A recording can sit a fraction of a BPM away, and radio edits and extended mixes can differ. Tap along with the exact version you own before you line it up.
Songs at 128 BPM, grouped by Camelot number
Songs that share a Camelot number are in the same key or its relative major or minor, so their chords overlap. Every song here is at 128 BPM, so no tempo change is needed inside a group.
Camelot 5A: C minor
Three songs in the same key, so this is the strongest group for a full overlay.
| Song | Key | Camelot |

| Rihanna — Where Have You Been | C minor | 5A |
| David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj — Turn Me On | C minor | 5A |
Camelot 2: E-flat minor and G-flat major
Two songs in E-flat minor plus their relative major, so all three share the same notes.

| Rihanna — S&M | E-flat minor | 2A |

| Swedish House Mafia ft. John Martin — Don’t You Worry Child | D major | 10B |
Neighbours to try with the groups above
Each is one step around the wheel from a group, which is the next safest move after the same number.
| Song | Key | Camelot |

| Walk the Moon — Shut Up and Dance | D-flat major (next to 2B) | 3B |
| Zedd ft. Foxes — Clarity | A-flat major (next to 3B) | 4B |

| Avicii — Waiting for Love | F-sharp minor (next to 10A) | 11A |
Why so much dance music is at 128 BPM
128 BPM became the default tempo for a lot of house, electro and the EDM-pop crossover of the early 2010s, which is why nearly every song in this list comes from that era. Because so many tracks share the tempo, DJs can move between them without touching the pitch fader, and the songs keep their original key.
The numbers are handy too. At 128 BPM a beat lasts 468.75 milliseconds, a 4/4 bar lasts 1.875 seconds and an eight-bar phrase lasts 15 seconds. A 32-bar intro, a common length in club edits, runs for exactly one minute.
How to use the groups
Inside a group, the songs share a key or a relative major and minor, so a vocal from one can usually sit over the instrumental of another. The C minor group is the obvious place to start: “Blame”, “Where Have You Been” and “Turn Me On” are all at 128 BPM in the same key, so you only have to line up the phrases.
Between groups, move one step around the wheel, for example from 2B to 3B. The songs in the last group are listed with the neighbour they fit. Matching keys narrows the options, but the chords in the exact sections you choose decide whether two parts work, so loop eight bars of each and listen for clashes.
Getting more out of a 128 BPM set
Songs a few BPM away can join the list with a small tempo change. A 124 BPM track sped up to 128 is about 3% faster, which most listeners won’t notice, but without key lock it also raises the pitch by about half a semitone. The harmonic mixing guide explains how tempo changes move the key.
A 128 BPM track also counts as 64 BPM at half time, so a slow ballad around 64 BPM can sometimes sit under a 128 BPM beat. Our half time vs double time guide explains how to test that.
