Start with the creator’s release page

The most useful place to look for a mashup download is the page where its creator or curator identifies the mix, credits the source songs and provides a download link. The collection below gives you concrete places to start, with the formats advertised on those pages.

These are creator and collection names to look up on their official sites. We checked the pages and their listed download options on September 27, 2026; we have not downloaded or verified every file or mirror. Availability can change. A creator-posted download is not a statement that every underlying sample has been cleared for every use.

Four places to find creator-posted downloads

Wax Audio — albums and tracks

Start with Anthology I for tracks such as Thunder Busters and Stayin’ In Black. The creator’s album page lists MP3 and WAV album links, track credits and separate listening links. Follow the format you want from that page.

Neil Cicierega — Mouth Moods

The creator’s album page offers MP3 and FLAC download links alongside a player. Choose this for a complete album rather than expecting every selection to be a separate file. T.I.M.E. is a useful starting point in our listening collection.

A Plus D — mashup collection

A creator collection hosted by Bootie, with individually named pairings and download links. Examples include Taylor Swift with Weezer and Rihanna with Guns N’ Roses. Start from the credited entry so the source information stays with the track.

Bootie — Best of Bootie 2018

A dated compilation with mixed and unmixed ZIP options, individual tracks, bonus selections and a continuous mix. It is an archive recommendation, not a current-year chart. Choose unmixed tracks if you want separate entries in your library.

Pick the right kind of download

An individual track is easiest to tag and find later. An unmixed compilation gives you separate tracks. A continuous mix is designed to play as one listening sequence, so it is less convenient if you want to rearrange the order.

MP3 is a compact listening format. WAV and FLAC can preserve lossless audio, although a lossless container cannot restore quality already lost in the source. Choose the format supplied by the creator; converting a low-quality file to WAV does not make it a better recording.

A finished mashup is also different from a stem pack. If you want an isolated vocal for your own project, these album downloads may not supply it. Check the release description before choosing a source for a new arrangement.

How SoundCloud downloads work

SoundCloud’s help center says listeners can download an enabled track on the web while signed in, using the Download file control beneath the waveform. The uploader decides whether that option is available, and the downloaded file uses the original uploaded format.

A track that plays is not necessarily downloadable. If the creator has not enabled the control, look for a release link they provide or listen on the platform. An offline-listening feature in an app is a separate feature from receiving an audio file.

Keep the information that makes the track useful

Save the mashup title, creator, source artists, release page and any version name alongside the file. Two uploads can use the same song pairing but contain different arrangements, edits or credits.

For DJ preparation, also note whether a track has an intro, an abrupt ending or explicit material. Analyze and audition your copy before assigning BPM or key: the metadata for either original song may not describe the completed mashup.

When a link no longer works

Return to the creator’s main page and look for a replacement release or current platform link. A missing file is a reason to update the reference, not to assume a random reupload belongs to the same creator.
